Homemade Hemp & Coconut Milk Recipe


Want to supercharge your morning tea or coffee? Try my delicious high protein homemade hemp and coconut milk.

This milk is creamy, delicious and really quick and easy to make. Each 200ml serve contains 10g of protein along with a healthy serve of vitamins, minerals and healthy fats. For ages I’ve been looking for a great dairy substitute which tastes sweet and creamy, has a high protein content and is free of unhealthy additives.

Today I blended a fresh batch in seconds before adding it to my morning tea and was surprised to fin it turned out perfectly first time.

Recipe:

  • 200ml water

  • 2tbsp hemp seeds

  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut

Directions

  • Blend, strain, serve

Don’t worry if you don’t have a nut milk bag or cheese cloth to hand - neither did I. Just push the blended liquid through a strainer. Sure you’ll have a few tiny lumps but that’s all good. Double strain it if you’re fussy.

Tip: Eat the leftover fibre. It’s great for your gut!
