Paleo Cafe In Sydney - Gluten Free Delicious Meals Delivered Fresh not Frozen

On this beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon many of us are now preparing for the week ahead. Meals and ingredients to be chosen, grocery shopping to be done, planning ahead for another week of delicious healthy eating.

In my quest to stay healthy I’ve often grumbled about the fact that lunch options are usually healthy or tasty - few places offer both but why? WHY IS IT SO HARD TO FIND A DECENT SERVE OF PROTEIN WITH A TASTY SIDE OF VEGETABLES FOR UNDER $20 IN SYDNEY?

But wait.... What is this?...

When doing my weekly shop of organic veggies a few weeks ago. Google presented me with one of the most wonderful gifts in the ads section – Real Food Connection. Out of the mist this oasis of absolutely delicious healthy food that is 100% grain free, gluten free, wholesome, paleo style, preservative free etc etc.

I immediately organised to pay a visit and had the pleasure of meeting with the owner Nadine, a Food Science graduate who suffered with Crohns disease which is now in full remission thanks to following a grain free diet. Nadine is passionate about providing healthy, delicious foods and like me believes that a healthy diet should never be boring.

Sitting down to a delicious plate of Apricot Chicken with Cauliflower rice, Nadine and I chatted about our shared passion for the healing power of real, delicious, healthy food. 2 hours went by in the blink of an eye and we left feeling excited and inspired to meet kindred spirits.

The first thing that struck me before even taking a bite – the portions are fantastic! This photo doesn't do it justice due to the giant serving plate but in later photos you'll see that they are fit for a king and since it’s all deliciously healthy and mostly veggies you can enjoy stuffing yourself guilt free.

I was content and nicely full after my first meal but also wishing I had room for more as Nadine walked me through the menu of delightful meals cooked fresh by her Paleo chef that day. Delicious vibrant oranges, reds, greens, generous servings of lean meats, beautiful combinations of flavours, spices, textures – I was very much in heaven.

But wait… just when you thought it couldn’t possibly get any better… they deliver!! That’s right, no more boring lifeless lunches or pitiful portions – you can order your delicious, healthy, weight loss and detox friendly meals and they will be delivered to your desk any day from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. This part really excited me - long day? Why not order lunch and dinner? Just take the meal home with you and it Just a couple of minutes you can have delicious gourmet Cinnamon Lamb with Sweet Potato Mash or Sofrito Chorizo Chicken Breast with Green Beans and Cauliflower Rice. Ooh my mouth is watering as I type.

Below are some of the delicious dishes from Real Food Connection. I can honestly say there’s real love in every dish - you can taste it.

The menu changes weekly and main meals start from around $10 – take a look on their menu at They are based in Camperdown but deliver to many locations.

Just one thing to be aware of, the meals will be delivered cold (not frozen). Most can be enjoyed cold or you can quickly re-heat. If you don’t have facilities at work to do so, I suggest mentioning it when you place your order so that they can suggest a suitable option.

So there you have it a wonderful solution to healthy eating on a budget or when life is too busy. Real Food Connection – Now officially Nutritionist approved.

Until Next Time, Stay Deliciously Healthy,

Jennifer May
