Nourish Me Well Box (Review)

Sydney Nutritionist

If you're reading my blog then chances are you're keen to maintain a healthy lifestyle but also love a bit of a treat too - you want to have your cake and eat it. My aim is to show you that this can be done very easily if you choose well. I like to introduce you to the health benefits of all foods - from the simple and traditional blueberry to the more exotic and modern acaii - to let you know where you can purchase them and of course how to use them.

When the creators of Nourish Me Well Box contacted me and asked me if I'd trial one of their boxes for an honest review, I knew that despite my crazy schedule I owed it to you, my readers to say yes.

So here I am on a Sunday morning taking time out of my relaxation day to write about this service. Though I have to say, it does not feel like a chore as I'm quite excited to announce this to you guys.

Nourish Me Well Box is a "Monthly Health Fix, Delivered to Your Door" - sounds good right?.. It sure is. My box contained:

  • A delicious box of loose leaf Byron Bay Chai, which is just a holiday in a mug really. This was yummy made with Inside Out almond milk and one of the coconut dream classic bites listed below. It also comes with instructions for how to brew chai in the traditional, stove top way.

  • Some Lamington Bars by Naturally Nood (love that name) - these were a big hit with the little ones - a great lunchbox treat.

  • Some cashew-sesame munch by Think Food - this was Divine! Gone in a matter of minutes. This would be an ideal yoghurt topper or, if you had the discipline, you could have a small serve as a snack. Or just eat the whole bag in one go like I did! Yum!

  • Some Kitz Living Food Coconut Dream Classic - I'd pay the fee just for this, it was definitely my favourite thing in the box. Kitz Living Food offer amazing food that is so healthy it hurts. While it was my favourite, I did manage to practice some restraint with this one (probably due to the higher fat and low sugar content which kept me satisfied for longer). I snacked on 1-2 pieces of this whenever I had a sugar craving and treated friends and family to some too. I know this has been a big winner with all.

  • Some Power Super Foods Cacao - the chocolatiest cacao on the market. This is the only Cacao I use and as you all know I'm kuckoo about Cacao (read why here).

  • And finally some Birch water - my least favourite of the box but that's ok, we can't all love everything. I found this a little too sugary for my taste, although it would make for a great natural post-workout drink with a handful of tamari almonds or some salted cucumber.

So what did I think of the Nourish Me Well Box? I think it is a fabulous way to be introduced to new and exciting healthy products each month at a fraction of the cost. Oh and the best part... unlike other subscription services, Nourish Me Well Box delivers you full size samples of each product - not minature sample sizes. This allows you to really enjoy your treat and share it with friends too - great idea huh! I actually think this would make a great birthday or Christmas present idea for someone too. What a great way to inspire a health journey and selecting one of the prepay option means they get a birthday treat every month for 3-6 months - I know I'd be happy with that!

Having tasted and tested them we can then decide if we'd like to purchase them at full price from the individual companies. The box even contains a card which shows the RRP of each product, a small blurb and their web address. I've gone out and bought most of these items again since receiving my box and am very pleased to have been introduced to the ones I previously had not come across.

To sign up for your Nourish Me Well Box click here and select whether you'd like to pay month by month or pay upfront for 3 or 6 months for even bigger savings.

Until next time, stay deliciously healthy.
